Mr. Gregory is recognized for his success as a business owner
MERRILLVILLE, IN, February 15, 2023 — Vernon J. Gregory Jr. has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
An expert in the structural adhesive industry, Mr. Gregory has earned distinction as a business owner for more than 30 years. Prior to embarking upon his private career, he served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his service, Mr. Gregory was inducted as a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Vietnam Veterans of America.
After completing his military service, Mr. Gregory earned an Associate of Science in electrical engineering from Thornton Community College in 1970. Following this accomplishment, he started working as a truck driver until becoming the owner of Illinois Adhesive Bonding Inc. During the course of his tenure, Mr. Gregory has repaired and saved many structures from collapse or failure. He was also recognized as the first in overall sales for 10 years in a row.
In addition to his main career endeavors, Mr. Gregory is an accomplished baseball player and author. In an effort to help people understand combat veterans like himself, he wrote a book on his experiences; “My Vietnam: Chicago to Southeast Asia,” which published in 2021. Looking toward the future, Mr. Gregory hopes to travel and visit people with whom he has served in Vietnam.
